Testimonials

Working with ECOS Communications has been an exceptional experience. They created exhibits and interpretive displays for our Welcome Centers that are nothing short of amazing. The final product conveys exactly what we envisioned and beautifully aligns with the Town of Vail’s strategic priorities and sustainable tourism goals. The ECOS team was inventive, timely, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. We’re proud to share these displays with our guests and grateful for such a thoughtful and professional partnership.

ECOS was great to work with from start to finish. Their team took our initial thoughts and ideas and transformed the look and feel of our Visitor Center with amazing displays. Their expertise and experience made the process smooth and efficient. And their communication was amazing! From the initial site tour and team discussion through installation, they were constantly checking in to make sure we were comfortable with everything.

ECOS helped us create a vibrant and engaging link between our state-of-the-art, naturalistic penguin habitat and our guests. They brought tremendous skills at placemaking, a keen eye for detail, and deep commitment to wildlife conservation that resulted in a suite of stunning education graphics, gorgeous sculptural interactives, and thematic operational signage and scenery to our project.  From early on-site workshops through the installation, the ECOS team were great partners and made the whole process enjoyable!

The signs look AMAZING, and the Herpetarium has a completely new look and feel! This building used to feel scary to many guests. ECOS transformed it into a bright, welcoming, and empathy-centered exhibit. Collaborating with ECOS was a true partnership; their creative approach and attention to detail helped us bring this vision to life. The vibrant colors and friendly graphics play a huge role in creating a sense of calm, connection, and empowerment for every guest who walks through the doors.

Cultural theming, natural history education, hands-on interactivity, engaging design and evocative text—ECOS brought all of this and more to create a holistic approach to our full-campus renovation project. The ECOS team provided expertise, enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective for our interpretive experience that goes so far beyond signage. They took the time to fully understand our mission, and to blend mission with relevant stories to make meaning for our visitors. We frequently hear visitors say they now “get” our mission, and they’re excited to support our work by donating and volunteering with us. ECOS’s vision and hard work were key to achieving this!

Working with ECOS Communications to design the Wild Utah exhibit was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their creativity, attention to detail, and ability to bring our stories to life exceeded all expectations. The team was professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to our success. They took the time to understand our goals and transformed them into experiences and graphics that connect our guests to wildlife and inspire them to take conservation action. Thanks to ECOS’s expertise and dedication, our exhibit is a big success. We couldn’t be happier with the results and look forward to working with ECOS again in the future!

Working with ECOS has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. We have utilized their services for several projects, ranging from small to large. The entire ECOS team brings a deep understanding of interpretive storytelling and audience engagement, translating goals and objectives into a design that is visually compelling and educational.

ECOS provides exceptional customer service and a collaborative spirit. From the earliest planning meetings through installation and even some budget and scope adjustments, they were responsive, thoughtful, and fully invested in our goals.

We’re thrilled with the final result and how it elevates entire areas of the Zoo while blending seamlessly with neighboring exhibits. We highly recommend ECOS for a partner who understands the power of interpretation to connect people with place, story, and purpose.

The exhibit looks absolutely wonderful. I’m so happy with how this all turned out. I love the changes you made with the interactive games, I love the photos you chose — I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all the hours and hours of work you have all have put into this. I feel very blessed and proud to be working with such a brilliant group of folks.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

When it came to designing the interpretive experience and messaging for China’s first private nature preserve (Laohegou), ECOS was our first choice. They are amazing, and they also helped us to plan the trail network and app, our school outreach efforts, even how tourists would engage with the local community outside the preserve. I highly recommend ECOS and we hope to have them back to China soon!

Sichuan Conservation Manager The Nature Conservancy

Thanks for your leadership and creativity on this project! What a treat it has been for our entire team to be reminded on this project that what we do is interesting, important, and fun!

You have given us a great perspective on what we do!

You have a great team and are such kind people to work with!

Thank you!

Northern Treatment Plant O&M Director Metro Wastewater Reclamation District

I have only the highest praise for ECOS. I know their work most recently from a multi-agency project to tell the story of the 1965 flood on the South Platte River. Throughout the project, ECOS managed a large review team and presentation of concepts and submittals in a highly effective and creative manner. With the diverse set of agendas and backgrounds represented on the project, it could have been a contentious process for me as a moderator, but ECOS made it easy. Their skill in careful listening, soliciting the right information, and building consensus is top notch. This, in concert with their creativity in approach and delivery, made the process and end product excellent.

I am confident that everyone involved on this project would be delighted to work with the ECOS team again in the future. The firm comes in on time and budget, and tackles storytelling and problem-solving gracefully for each and every project – and they know how to make the process fun.

ECOS provides so much more than exhibits and signage. They use their talents in art, science, education, and communications to inform our visitors, inspire them to care about wildlife, and challenge us all to take action for conservation. They help us shape our entire guest experience in fun, accessible ways.

ECOS redesigned many important aspects of Arusha National Park, including the architecture and interpretive exhibits for a new main entrance visitor center, shop and dining area. We also greatly appreciate their training workshops and impressions offered to Directors and senior staff at many of Tanzania’s most significant parks and conservation areas, including Tarangiri, Ngorongoro Crater, and Serengetti.

ECOS has added incredible value to every project I have hired them to do—from large zoo and botanic garden exhibits, to trail planning/marketing/interpretation, to high-level park planning and experience design. The are fun to have on a team and they do a great job of deciphering a complicate mix of constraints and opportunities.
