Project: Roaring Fork Conservancy’s River Center Exhibition
Description:With headwaters just above Aspen, the Roaring Fork River is a highly visible example of today's competing demands and cultural expectations on water in the West. The upcoming construction of a new River Center by Basalt-based Roaring Fork Conservancy will draw even more attention to this river and watershed.
During early planning for the Center in 2007, Roaring Fork Conservancy approached ECOS with a big need: convert the staff's initial exhibit concepts into a coherent visitor experience, and present that visually through powerful renderings. And we did! From this successful effort came the Concept Finalization and Schematic Design phases of work, completed in 2012.
The interpretive focus of the 1,800-square-foot River Center Exhibition is to reveal the complexities and interconnectedness of water resources, inspiring visitors to new levels of understanding and engagement about this precious resource.
